Machine Condition Monitoring – MCM
Machine Condition Monitoring (MCM) is a modular solution that integrates key monitoring functions into a single platform tailored to customer needs.
Its modular design allows customers to use the solution for nearly any type of application, value, and in all areas where asset management is a priority.
The system is equally effective in large power plants with several hundred installed MW as it is in small and medium-sized facilities.
Monitoring systems in power plants and facilities can vary greatly in form and function, catering to the diverse information needs of different stakeholders. Despite these variations, they all share a common goal: protecting their investment. MCM's advanced tools provide comprehensive monitoring of all key elements and deliver critical information to stakeholders, enabling prompt action to protect equipment. In collaboration with our team, customers can define their own monitoring scope and decide which features to integrate, focusing on areas that offer the most significant process improvements.
MCM has been successfully deployed in systems worldwide, assisting users in making informed decisions for managing power systems and facilities.
Users can define their specific monitoring parameters, which are then thoroughly analyzed and reported. The monitoring scope can concentrate on critical areas of each machine, such as the stator, rotor, shaft, and bearings. Selected values are monitored in real-time, with even the most demanding parameters processed quickly thanks to powerful processing units.
The MCM system's connectivity allows for the integration of energy equipment into a single access point, enabling the monitoring of critical equipment across multiple power plants or facilities. With its modular design, key parameter measurements can be upgraded to accommodate large facilities with complex needs, tailored to specific customer requirements.
Users can access measurement data through a local touchscreen display (local HMI) and a web server (web application). Local visualization offers real-time data, waveforms, vibration spectra, trends, and settings. All screens can be customized to meet customer requirements, including the native language.
The MCM system includes a multi-user web server that provides remote access and an overview of all system data via a standard web browser. This web server allows access to the MCM system from any desktop or laptop computer (running Windows or macOS), tablet (iOS or Android), or smartphone (iOS or Android).
System access is available without needing to install additional software, using standard web browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari. The web server provides insight into real-time data, vibration spectra, trends, waveforms, alarms, and other diagnostic tools.
We deliver comprehensive services to support the installation, commissioning, and operation of the MCM system. Our services include consulting to identify the optimal system for new and existing plants, performing installation and commissioning, providing user training, and offering expert analysis of the collected data.
