On October 26, 2022, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, Siniša Majer, an associate in the Department of Rotating Machines, BU Energy, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation. His thesis, titled "Sources of Ventilation Losses in Salient Pole Hydrogenerators," was evaluated by the committee and awarded the grade magna cum laude. As a result, our colleague has earned the academic degree of Doctor of Science in the field of technical sciences, specifically in the scientific field of mechanical engineering.
