Successful delivery of the KONČAR MCM system for the modernization of HPP Senj
In collaboration with partner company Veski Ltd, equipment for diagnostic monitoring of the HPP Senj unit has been delivered as part of a modernization effort that enhances cooperation and provides advanced systems for monitoring power equipment.
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the factory acceptance test (FAT) for the KONČAR Monitoring and Diagnostics System (MCM), designed specifically for the modernization of HPP Senj. This comprehensive monitoring solution, developed in partnership with Veski d.o.o., marks a significant milestone in enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.
As part of a comprehensive revitalization and modernization effort for HPP Senj, this project is crucial for enhancing cooperation with HEP-Proizvodnja. The aim is to equip both, new and existing power plants with advanced systems for real-time monitoring and diagnostics of essential electrical power equipment.
The monitoring system delivery includes a cabinet containing a processing unit and associated software, as well as a system for analyzing bearing currents and measuring partial discharges. It also comes with all the necessary measurement sensors and related equipment. This comprehensive monitoring system enables users to accurately measure and analyze key parameters such as absolute and relative bearing housing vibrations, stator and winding head vibrations, air gap and magnetic flux, transient phenomena, load angle, bearing currents, and partial discharges.
The system can connect with other data exchange systems, ensuring seamless integration. Using advanced software tools, it allows for detailed machine diagnostics and predictive maintenance planning, which helps extend equipment life and improve efficiency.
