TCMS systems for Liepājas Tramvajs
Fourteen Train Control and Management Systems (TCMS) were delivered for low-floor electric trams intended for public transport in the city of Liepāja, Latvia.
The TCMS was engineered as a modular platform, offering easy adaptability to the unique needs of each client. The core components comprise the vehicle’s main computer, the driver’s cab computer, an energy consumption monitoring system, and a high-resolution Human-Machine Interface (HMI) with touchscreens.
The production and delivery of trams for the city of Liepāja in Latvia marked the debut of the new HMI interface version – KONHMI 102A, developed in collaboration with KONČAR – Electric Vehicles.
This comprehensive hardware and software solution features a modern design, a touch-sensitive screen, fully customizable communication interfaces, graphic displays, and IP65 protection, showcasing KONČAR's capability to develop a product that is not only competitive in the global market but also surpasses many similar products in several aspects.
The KonHMI 102A showcases the adaptability of the KonHMI platform, enabling mechanical customization and display configuration to cater to specific user requirements, and ensuring seamless integration into diverse industrial systems and vehicles.
The graphical displays were created using the GrapDisplay tool, software developed for creating graphical interfaces that is supplied with the HMI. This tool offers a substantial competitive edge, establishing KONHMI as a comprehensive solution that fully addresses all user requirements.
