LF and HF electromagnetic field measurements
The Laboratory for EMC and Safety conducts measurements, calculations, and assessments of low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency (HF) electromagnetic fields in compliance with the Croatian Regulations on the Protection of Electromagnetic Fields (Official Gazette No. 98/11), covering a frequency range from 0 Hz to 10 GHz.
Our Services Include:
- Non-ionizing radiation measurements: Evaluating radiation levels from magnetic resonance devices
- 50 Hz field measurements: Assessing electrical and magnetic fields in homes and business premises near power lines and transformer stations
- High-frequency electromagnetic field measurements: Monitoring base stations of GSM operators in sensitive areas such as schools, nurseries, hospitals, and homes, as well as professional exposure environments
- Non-ionizing radiation assessments: Measuring radiation levels from transmission devices in shopping centers and similar locations
- Electromagnetic field calculations and measurements: Conducting assessments for obtaining location and usage permits
Authorizations:
- Ministry of Health Authorization: Certified to perform professional tasks related to electromagnetic field protection, including measurements and calculations of field strength within the frequency range of 0 Hz to 2.5 GHz
- Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency Authorization: Approved to perform calculations and measurements of electromagnetic field levels for fixed radio stations
The Laboratory for EMC and Safety is accredited to perform LF and HF electromagnetic field measurements, calculations, and assessments according to the HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
