After an extensive and rigorous multi-month audit that thoroughly evaluated our management system and laboratories associated with power equipment testing, our Laboratory Center has received approval from the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

With this approval, the Laboratory Center is authorized to conduct type tests for the following power equipment:

• Oil immersed distribution transformers (type and special tests)
• Cast resin distribution transformers (type and special tests)
• RMU and SWGR
• Prefabricated substation
• Current transformers
• Voltage transformers
• MV cable accessories
• Metallic connectors
• MV capacitors and reactors

DEWA is primarily responsible for supplying power and water to Dubai and is recognized as one of the top utility providers globally. DEWA owns and operates infrastructure for power generation, water desalination, water reservoirs, and the distribution networks for both electricity and water.

This DEWA approval is a testament to the competence of our laboratories and paves the way for new business opportunities in the highly competitive market of the United Arab Emirates.
