The award was received by Director Dalibor Filipović-Grčić, who remarked on the occasion:

The Laboratory for Power Systems and Drives (LAVESP) is a high-tech complex, among the few of its kind globally, essential for the ongoing development and testing of high-voltage equipment. It stands out by its advanced equipment for testing components of HVDC transmission systems, which are pivotal for the green transition, as they enable the transmission of energy over long distances, the use of long underground and submarine cable connections, and the energy transmission from offshore wind farms. LAVESP plays a crucial role in the technological advancement and global recognition of the KONČAR Group.

The award ceremony was held as part of the 2nd day of the Financial and Investment Forum in Zagreb organized by Lider Media.
