Cutting-edge monitoring systems for power equipment: Ongoing collaboration in the Romanian market

This delivery comes on the back of the first system successfully commissioned for unit 6 in 2019. The delivered MCM system includes a cabinet with a processing unit and numerous peripherals, associated software, and a system for metering and analysis of partial discharges. The system enables precise measurement of vibrations, air gaps, and pressure inside the turbine. Integrated with the control system, which feeds the process variables into MCM, such as temperatures, pressures, currents, and voltages, thus providing comprehensive data on the condition of the unit. Plans are in place to extend the Institute's cooperation with the Romanian customer with the aim of contracting the delivery of monitoring systems for units 1, 2, 3, and 4. This long-term cooperation confirms the high level of trust and our expertise in developing high-tech solutions for the power industry.
